Inspiration: Birha Da Sultan
Shiv Kumar Batalvi (1936–1973) was a renowned Punjabi language poet, known for his romantic poetry, heightened passion, pathos, separation, and lover's agony.
He became the youngest recipient of the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1967 for his epic verse play Loona. His poetry continues to resonate with millions, and this auditorium stands as a testament to his enduring legacy in his hometown of Batala.
